Have you ever read a book that grabs at you until you give in, then pulls you into the story? A book that feels like you are in the story yourself? Well, this book, Dragon Rider, is the book that does this the best. When I started reading this book, I was sucked in instantly.
Firedrake, one of the last Silver Dragons alive in the world, and his pals, Sorrel, a brownie, and Ben, a human, set out to find the Rim of Heaven–where all silver dragons rest. But there are two problems–Nettlebrand, and humans…
Humans are planning to flood Firedrake’s, and the other dragons’, homes. What are they to do? Wait for it to happen, or find a way out? But Firedrake finds a way around this. He discovers the Rim of Heaven, where he and his trapped fellows can safely hide away from the humans.
However, Nettlebrand, the Golden One, is watching their every move…
This is their story, a thrilling adventure that takes place right in your hands, as you read, and read, and read some more. I recommend this book to students fourth grade and up, and is a great read for any adults that love a thrilling tale of fantasy. But caution–you are about to be sucked in the most realistic fantasy ever…
I have this book sitting on my shelf. I read it ages ago, but I forgot what the story was about. ^^ I really need to go read it again!
