Seeds of Comassion

Last Monday, 4/14/08, some of the students from our school went to listen to the Dalai Lama speak. It was fun, but we couldn’t really hear anything. We were in the Key Arena, in Seattle, in the very top row. Plus, I didn’t have my glasses with me, so I couldn’t see the subtitles, but Hannah was nice and she read them for me.
At the very beginning, there were all these people running across the stage, shaking the Dalai Lama’s hand and doing all this weird stuff, but I don’t know what the heck they were doing. Then, finally, the Lama spoke.
I didn’t learn anything, because I couldn’t hear anything! And I couldn’t understand anything he was saying. In the end, it was a fun trip. ![]()
