The world is full of words, and everybody has there own way of expressing words through stories, poems, and articles. There are different ways people express the words the want to say. Some people publish a book, while some edit newspapers. Here at our small community that is Odyssey 7/8, our way of having our voices heard is through this fantastic website called ‘Bird Words’. Some people may have never visited this kind of blog-like website, so let me tell you a little bit about it.
Bird Words is a student run online magazine with contributions by us as well. It’s our way of sharing our stories, poetry and articles. As you surf through our different pieces, please feel more then free to leave comments so our authors know that you truly appreciate their writing and efforts they have made to ensure that Bird Words is one of the finest online magazine around.
Every piece you see on Bird Words was more or less hand edited and completely original, you’ll find no copies or rewrites of other stories here. There are currently seven girl editors working on this website, and while we’re on the subject of thanking people involved, we have to extend a huge thank you to our head and chief, Cathy Nickum, without whom this website would have never existed.
Enough of me going on about all of the wonderful features there are to explore on Bird Words, go out there and do it yourself! Just remember, that words are out there, all one needs to do to get them heard and recognized is pluck them from the air, and put them into a way other people can truly appreciate.
